PRODUCT REVIEWS
SONY 50mm f1.4 GM
The nifty fifty lens that I would recommend in everyone’s kit. A versatile lens with really nice creamy bokeh, paired with the latest Sony cameras giving you the best AF speed in the market, period.
SONY a6700
Another budget friendly camera from Sony, an all rounder in my opinion, suitable for beginners and hobbyists that are looking for a camera that fits comfortably into any bag.
SONY FX30
If you’re in the market for a video focused camera that doesn’t break you bank the Sony FX30 is the camera you are looking for. With a wide array of new functions that even the FX3 doesn’t have, it is definitely a camera you want to get your hands on.
SONY 24-70mm F2.8 GM II
It seems like Sony is releasing yet another lens that is claimed to be the lightest in its class as of the review. Excellent optical performance and design, but my biggest takeaway is the cost of this lens and it costs even cheaper than the GM I!
SONY POWER ZOOM16-35mm F4 G
The lightest wide angle constant F4 lens in the world as of the publishing of the review (25/03/22) has so much to offer. Weighing in at only 353g and standing 88.11mm tall, the lens packs a bunch of features in a small body. I’ve never used a lens of this size with such clarity and performance in terms of optics.
SONY A7IV
The budget A7SIII alternative? I was looking forward to test how the A7IV has improved since the A7III and there has been a number of significant improvements in terms of design and performance for both stills and video. Unfortunately, the A7IV falls short when it comes to heat dissipation. Overheating every now and then while recording on 4k25p is a dealbreaker for me. So personally, my answer is going to be a no for it being the budget alternative to the A7SIII.
RAZER ENKI
With the gaming chair industry being so saturated, can Razer really produce another chair that stands out from its competitors? The Razer Enki definitely does stand out in terms of design that is so uniquely Razer and I would have to say, the amount of support it provides is one of the sturdiest I’ve experienced.
CANON EOS R3
24.1MP may seem subpar in the professional camera industry nowadays, or is it? Canon claims that the resolution of the R3 would beat that of a 30MP 5D Mark IV, I will let the viewers be the judge of that in this review.
The EOS R3 shines not in its 24.1MP sensor but it’s extremely quick and accurate autofocus. For a $9000 camera it is definitely targeted at professional photographers.
CANON EOS R5
The current flagship model for Canon’s EOS R series cameras and I can definitely see why. 8K RAW, 45MP and high speed video frame rates of up to 120fps, the R5 is hard to beat. If not for it’s hefty price tag, the EOS R5 would be a staple for every professional photographer and videographer out there.
OSIM U THRONE S
An ergonomic chair with a twist! The Osim U Throne S comes with vibrational massage seats to help promote blood circulation and you can even customize it with additional Osim products to fit your massage needs! Apart from the need to plug it into a power outlet and a few other setbacks, I would say that the U Throne S is a chair that I would immediately pick up.
NIKON Z9
First looks on the all new Nikon Z9 that shoots 120fps photos at 11mp. Honestly that’s not even the most fascinating feature on this beast of a camera. Check out my first impressions of the Nikon Z9 and see how the autofocus stands up against a 1 year old puppy running around and a cyclist in the park.
SONY 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II
Diving head on into a first impressions review of the all new 70-200mm lens from Sony, it is safe to say so far testing the lens out, I have yet to find anything that falls short of a professional telephoto lens. Fast and sharp autofocusing, great bokeh, incredible image stabalisation, all the things I look for in a lens.
CANON EOS R3
A first impressions review of the long awaited mirrorless Canon EOS R3. Loads of new technology in this beast of a camera one of which, the eye control autofocus is set to change the game in the mirrorless camera industry
NIKON ZFC
A blast from the past, the Nikon Zfc may look like a film camera on the outside, but don’t be deceived by it’s looks. Packed with all the latest technology, this APSC format mirrorless camera will be an essential for the modern everyday content creator
HOLLYLAND LARK 150
Hollyland has been a staple in the film industry when it comes to wireless video transmission systems, but how will their first wireless audio transmission system fair?
